Hire Fee and Security
The Hirer will pay the hiring fee at least SEVEN working days prior to commencement of the hire. The contractor will arrange staging houses within SEVEN working days after the full payment is lodged by cash, cheque or bank transaction. The hirer agrees and declares that the hirer is responsible for all costs incurred or damage caused to the furniture/furnishings. The booking date is not secured until full payment has been received.

Scope of Work
The Hire Fee includes delivery and pick up of the furniture/furnishings. Placement of items within the Delivery Address shall be at the discretion of All About Designs Ltd (‘Trading as Decoplus’).

Access
The hirer shall give Decoplus entry keys and access details to enable Decoplus the free entry to the property Delivery Address at such times as the Decoplus may require. If the hirer for any reasons delay to allow the entry, they shall be responsible for extra cost incurred.

Damage to or Loss of the Decoplus’ Property
The Hirer shall keep the furnishings in a good and clean condition and should damage occur, agrees to pay either the charges required to return the damaged furniture/furnishings to good order or for replacement of the item/s at the marked retail price. The hirer is also responsible for any loss as a result of theft, fire or any other event which causes the complete destruction or loss of any of Decoplus’ property.

Damage to the Hirers Property
Where fitting of artwork, mirrors or pictures is requested, any damage to the surfaces to which they are affixed consequent upon fixing or removal shall be at the Hirers’ risk. Any indentations resulting from the placement of furniture/furnishings on floors or flooring, walls will also be at the Hirers’ risk.

Intellectual property
The Hirer agrees to allow Decoplus to photograph the property before and after the work is completed, and to use all such photographs for reference and marketing purposes.

Refund and Cancellation
Cancellation of this Hire Agreement on or after the commencement date of installation will result in no refund. Cancellation of this hire agreement with 3 working days prior the commencement date will attract an Administration fee equal to 20% of the total value price. Deferrals and changes of date are accommodated without cost providing a minimum of 1 full day (24 hours)s’ notice or will incur an extra 5% of the total value price. Early return of stock does not incur a refund or rebate.

Installation
Any renovation must be finished and thoroughly cleaned BEFORE Decoplus’ team arrive. On no account will the furniture be installed whilst the site is still under construction. Notice must be given at least 72 hours before installation by the Hirer for any postponement or cancellation. All waiting time or schedule changes will incur a cost which must be paid by the hirer.

Display Use & Removal
The Hirer agrees that the furniture/furnishings are for display use only. The hirer shall accept full responsibilities for any person/s injured from using the displayed furniture. Should the hirer request items to be changed, substituted at hirer’s discretion with similar or comparable items shall be on hirer’s cost. A full list of installed furniture/furnishings is available upon request.

The Hirer shall not sell, assign, sublet, lend, pledge or mortgage the furniture/furnishings or any of them or remove any of them from the premises detailed under the Delivery Address. The hirer must present and guide if his/ her personal belongs exist in the staging house. Failure to do this, the hirer shall be responsible for a re-delivery and storage cost incurred.

The Hirer understands that Decoplus does not and cannot guarantee success or any particular result. While we shall use our best professional efforts to achieve a successful result, we can make no warranty or guarantee expressed or implied of providing non-damage furniture to your favor. Payment for the service constitutes acceptance of the nails used for free artworks and paintings on the walls.

Insurance
All goods and furnishings while at the address shall be insured by the hirer with excess of $2500. Alternatively, Decoplus can arrange comprehensive insurance for $150 + GST to cover the entire staging period. Purchasing staging insurance is highly recommended due to the current social circumstances. In the event of loss/theft/burglary, the hirer will only need to pay an excess fee of $500 + GST per claim, while we handle the rest of the claims process, eliminating any hassle or complexity.

Repossession
Decoplus may terminate the hire and repossess the Furnishings at any time during the Period of Hire without notice and without payment of compensation by its agents for that purpose where the right arises because of expiry or breach of terms and conditions by the hirer or theft by a third party.

Payment
Under our current Debt Policy, when fees are in arrears, the debt will be referred to a debt collection agency. Any overdue fees will incur an interest charge of 8% per calendar month (or part thereof), which will be added to the amount outstanding until paid in full. Any expenses, costs or disbursements incurred by Decoplus in recovering any outstanding amounts owed, including debt collection, legal and court costs, will be payable by the hirer. By paying this invoice is accepting our terms and conditions.
